OBMS Advanced Level College Post-UTME 2018 Coaching Closing Ceremony:

The 2018 post-UTME coaching organized by OBMS A-Level College ended yesterday 30th August, 2018. About 150 students registered for the coaching. The training was closed with a seminar titled “The Road to Academic Excellence”. It took place in the College Hall at Total Garden, Ibadan. Two guest speakers were invited to counsel the students on choices ahead of them. The guest speakers were Dr. Akin Odukogbe, Associate Professor and Consultant of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University College Hospital, Ibadan, and Mrs O. A. Fagbemi, a teacher and educational consultant and a parent to one of the girls who sat for her Cambridge Advanced Level examination in May/June, 2018.
They both reiterated the importance of continuing education and buttressed the facts of getting Advanced Level education and why OBMS Advanced Level College should be their right choice. A’Level education avails students of multiple opportunities to university education, ensures maturity of students to face university life and prepares students with a background of most university courses in view.
Past students of the College also shared their experiences: Eniola Olatunde and Olanrewaju Akomolafe were on hand to further encourage the students.
The Associate Pastor, Rev. Diran Adeleke who represented the Senior Pastor of Oritamefa Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Remi Awopegba also emphasized the need to control freedom because of the less-merciful nature of the society they would face in the future, and also closed the event with prayers.
The lecturers of the College were on ground to make the event a success, as Mr Adedokun gave the vote of thanks. The event was anchored by the A’Level coordinator, Mr Olubodun Oke.
